The fact that one can send an email to someone without knowing who the person is and the only thing he/she may know of this person is the persons email address enables one to be colder towards the other. One may thing that he/she may never get to meet this person and thus the lie. A research has proven that people tend to lie while typing a mail than when writing a letter, i guess coming back to the fact that the writer doesnt know the person from anywhere makes it easier for one to lie.

From my experience i find it very easy to lie when i write an email, maybe i need to protect myself, my self-esteem while sending the mail, maybe i don’t want to hurt the person, its easier to lie for me due to the distance between me and the recipient. What about you?

I believe that employees should be allowed but it should be controlled. The management for one cannot prevent them bringing a small palm sized phone which cannot be seen unless looked at, i mean yes it may be distracting and some may connect their computer or phone to the network which makes the possibility of information theft, the firm should learn or figure out a way to prevent such theft possible because the employees will still bring devices into the working place.

My point is that if the firm can learn how to control how information is spreed round the work place, then bringing electronic devices to work would not be much of a problem. What do you think?

Well i believe only people who need any relative information regarding my health can look at my records, be them doctors, insurance companies, heck the government, but the security most be relatively tight so that not just anyone may be able to see, some information there may be personal and i would not want it to get out. But personally i believe that companies or corporation in need of information available on my records should be able to look through my records. Though they are some people who have embarrassing things on theirs, there may be someone who may need the information on the record that may save his life or something, well, that is just me. What do you think?

Well in my opinion i believe that text messages sent by employees using the firms emails should not be private. If there is need for the employee must send a mail and its needs to be private, there are many private emailing websites that are made for the purpose of privacy, examples are yahoo, hotmail, etc.

And though everyone has a right to privacy, it is still the firms property and it being the firms property, i would think it okay for them to check the context of the mail, i may even go as far as to say that it is their right. It is a firm email service to be used to send messages to employees around the firm at a quick and effective way, not for private messages to ones peers or  partner, it is meant for office use so no i don’t think it should be private. Do you?
